DELUXE BOOK FORMATTING SERVICE INCLUDES:
1. Formatting/Layout of book interior: Book formatting done in Microsoft Word. This includes a copyright page, dedication page, one abbreviated title page, one elaborate title page with logo, acknowledgments page, table of contents, sections, chapters, running headers and page numbers, “About the Author” and/or “Other Books By” page. Upper case for first line formatting style or drop caps, clip art or small photo on full title page if desired.
2. Your Input: You can choose your font preference if there is one. Or we will choose one that is widely used in the book publishing industry and reader friendly for both PDFs and print books.
3. Types of Files You Receive: PDF file and Word document. You will get a high quality PDF and a formatted Word document. You will also receive a one piece high resolution, formatted PDF and JPEG of your book cover, a logo, a barcode in .JPEG format a one minute video in .wav format With this elaborate book service you will also receive either a print copy of your book or a CD with your book file.
4. Editing: We will correct up to 5 typographical, grammatical or spelling errors if we happen to notice them while doing the design and layout work. (Thorough proofreading and/or editing services can be requested for a separate fee.)
5. Book Cover: We will design and format a cover for your book. This includes a front cover design as well as back cover formatting with a book description, reviews, your logo, your website, your address, your picture, a catchy heading that you can provide or Iwecan come up with for you. You can decide what you want included or you can leave it up to me.
6. Logo: If you do not have a logo and would like one included, we will design one for you and include it on the back cover and title page.
7. Uploading to Online Distribution Websites: We will upload your book to either CreateSpace or Lulu.com, where you can have your book sold at online retail sites like Amazon.com.
8. Bar code: We will generate a bar code for your book based on your ISBN.
9. Self-Publishing Guidance and Consultation: Feedback and guidance on your path toward self-publishing. We can discuss your book options, the online printers that are available to you, whether to opt for paperback or hardcover, where to get the best print on demand services, what the best self-publishing practices are, your book blurb, your cover design— anything that might deserve a second thought before going to print.
10. Follow-up: You may also contact me post publication for feedback, direction, recommendations for review sites and for help regarding any other uploading glitches you may encounter.
